Reed Colver

Campus and Community Engagement
Office of the Executive Director for the Arts

I manage the campus and community engagement programs Carolina Performing Arts and the Office for the Executive Director for the Arts at UNC-CH, including Carolina Creative Campus. Previously, I worked with the Multicultural Arts Professional Development Program, in Melbourne, Australia, with Animating Democracy at Americans for the Arts, with Deaf West Theatre Company in Los Angeles, and have a background in dance, theatre. Originally from Durham, NC I lived in Australia for a number of years where I worked in International Education, and multicultural arts. As part of the Office of the Executive Director for the Arts, I work with students, staff and facutly to find new connections for the Arts on the UNC campus and the community, and I am particularly interested about the intersection of arts, dialogue and engagement. I am a graduate of Pomona College (B.A., Anthropology), and The School for International Training (M.A. Intercultural Service Leadership and Management).

Erin M. Hanahan

Junior, Dramatic Arts and Journalism double major

I am an intern in the Office of the Executive Director of the Arts. I work with Reed on campus and community and engagement, although I’ve had the opportunity to be exposed to a number of positions throughout the office. My career aspirations include arts and dialogue, and working with Reed has given me the opportunity to explore that interest. I plan on studying in Dublin, Ireland the spring semester of this year through the Boston University Internship Program. I am a student producer for LAB! Theatre and performance is my first passion. I also enjoy art museums, writing, books, and ice cream. I originally hail from Deerfield Beach, FL, but have lived in Apex, NC since the second grade.
