Set in the suburbs of San Fransisco, Get Your Troy On! follows two high school outcasts whose only friends are each other. Elijah, a young, gender-variant gay boy, wishes he was Cher. Diana wishes she was Wonder Woman. And that her sister was still alive. And that he mother would quit drinking. They both wish they could be anywhere but Walnut Creek. Just before Elijah is attacked at school, their wishes come true — only instead of the daily battles of high school they find themselves fighting the Trojan War as Amazons. Get Your Troy On! examines the violence that transgender and gender-variant men and women (especially youth) continue to face through a fun, yet sober, theatrical collision of Greek myth and comic book fantasy.

Join us for the performance February 4 and 5 at 8:00 p.m. in Gerrard Hall.
